Come out to St. Andrew’s on Sunday, April 14 at 3 p.m. to hear a wonderful program of male choir singing, exceptional soloists and to support The Working Centre. Admission is pay-what-you-are-able. Mark your calendars and we’ll see you there!

The renowned KW male choir, Guys Who Sing, is finally making their triumphant return after a years-long, pandemic-induced hiatus. Initially conceived by Daniel Lichti in 2019, the choir swiftly gained traction with a successful debut concert in June of the same year. Subsequent collaborations, including a heartwarming Christmas program in 2019, garnered significant interest, paving the way for a planned spring concert in 2020 before unforeseen circumstances intervened.

Now, after four years, Guys Who Sing is gearing up for an eagerly awaited performance on Sunday, April 14, 2024, in the sanctuary of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Under the direction of conductors Gordon Burnett, Gerald Neufeld, and Peter Nikiforuk, the choir will present a concert with a thematic focus on nature, fitting for the approaching Earth Day. The concert promises a diverse repertoire featuring classic pieces such as Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody and Schubert’s Ständchen, spotlighting celebrated soloists Laura Pudwell, Daniel Lichti, Steven Henricksen, Silas Chinsen, and Michael Lepock.

Beyond their musical endeavors, Guys Who Sing remains committed to supporting local charitable organizations, with proceeds from this concert dedicated to The Working Centre, a vital resource for the homeless in KW. Mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable afternoon of fine male choir singing, exceptional solo performances, and community support at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church. Admission is by donation, as we come together to make a difference.
