Noon Hour Concerts are back with an incredible Autumn lineup of preformers.  Join us every Wednesday from now until December 20th between 12:15 p.m. and 12:45 p.m.

Plus, come a little earlier and enjoy a sandwich lunch available for purchase beginning at 11:30 a.m. Admission to the building is free, and all are welcome and encouraged to come out.

About Autumn Debassige

Autumn Debassige is a mezzo-soprano of First Nations heritage based in southern Ontario.
A versatile freelance soloist, Autumn has been featured by 4th Wall Music, Guelph Chamber Choir, The Cellar Singers, Spiritus Ensemble and by the Elora Festival in the inaugural roster of their Summer Vocal Program in Ensemble and Solo Singing.  She has appeared on stage at Niagara’s former Oh Canada Eh Dinner Theatre in their Broadway Showstoppers production, has performed in Windsor Symphony Orchestra’s Wild,Wild West and Fiddlin’ Around concerts and in March made her operatic debut as Conversa II in Puccini’s Suor Angelica with Grand River Opera.  This June, she was honoured to step in as alto soloist for the premiere of Justin Lapierre’s Stabat Mater under the direction of Ben Wallace.
Autumn is an active recitalist with a ‘rich and expressive’ voice, whose performances have been described as ‘lovely and stylish…wonderful, varied and consistently engaging.’   In the past year she has sung in concert series at Symphony in the Barn (Hanover), St. John’s (Elora), Yorkminster Park and St. James’ Cathedral (Toronto), First United Church (Waterloo), St. John’s (Kitchener), Copperlight (Stratford), St. Paul’s Cathedral (London) and St. James’ Anglican Church (Orillia). 
Solo work aside, Autumn is an alto in the professional Parish Choir at St. John’s in Elora.  She is a graduate of Leslie Fagan’s voice studio (WLU 2016), an alumna of The Ontario Youth Choir (2017) and she holds an Advanced Diploma in Music Theatre Performance (St. Clair College 2019).  Autumn currently studies with Dr. Elizabeth Lepock.

About Angus Sinclair

Angus is a well-known freelance organist and pianist in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. He was accompanist of the Three Cantors from 1997 to 2016; together they raised well over $1million in aid of the Huron Hunger Fund/PWRDF and produced several CD recordings and performed over 250 concerts. Together they received Honorary Senior Fellowships from Renison College, and Honorary DD degrees from Huron University College.He holds an Honours B.Mus. in organ performance from Wilfrid Laurier University (1981). As an organist and music director, his appointments included St. Paul's Cathedral London Ontario, St George’s Middlesex Centre, and the Blyth Festival Singers.  Angus has written a number of compositions, in several different genres.
