Why are we celebrating?
On January 23, 1855, the Presbytery granted approval to a petition, allowing Presbyterians in Berlin who had been gathering in private homes for the past year to formally establish a congregation named "St. Andrew’s - Berlin”.
Anniversary Weekend May 4th - 5th
Join us for a weekend of celebration marking 170 years of ministry at St Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kitchener! On May 4th-5th, 2024, our Anniversary Weekend promises a journey through our rich history and a glimpse into the promising future ahead. On Saturday we’ll host a Gala dinner featuring food from Bella Vista Catering. On Sunday, May 5th we’ll gather for a special Anniversary Worship Service featuring former interim Minister Rev. Vernon Tozer. Join us again in the evening for an Anniversary Concert at 7:00 p.m. featuring organ, trumpet, and choral scholars past and present.

Our celebratory weekend begins Saturday, May 4th, with a Gala Dinner served French style.

Vernon Tozer and other guests to help mark seventeen decades of building community, acting with compassion and responding faithful in service to those in downtown Kitchener and around the world.

$500,000 Goal
St. Andrew's has already made a significant step towards our fundraising goals for the Future Media Trust Fund with a foundational contribution of $100,000 from the proceeds of an undesignated life insurance policy. This generous donation, alongside the blessing and support of the donor's family, kickstarts our campaign with a strong commitment to our vision for the future. Our aim, leveraging this momentum, is to grow the fund to $500,000. This target will allow us to generate $25,000 annually, specifically designated for our television and media ministries, ensuring a sustainable and expansive reach of our services and messages.
