We believe in supporting the community and the arts.

That is why we at St Andrew’s are making our spaces available to the public for rental. If you have an event, we have a space for it! Whether it’s a concert, rehearsal, meeting, seminar - even karate or cooking lessons! - St Andrew’s can provide the facilities you need.

We are looking to welcome both short-term rentals and long-term partnerships! Here are some examples of the types of events and partnerships we can accomodate:

Short-term rentals:

  • Concerts, recitals, art showings

  • Weddings, dinners, family and milestone celebrations

  • Meetings, seminars, training sessions

  • Craft and bake sales, community events

Long-term partnerships:

  • Other congregations

  • Rehearsals, music lessons

  • Therapists, counsellors

  • Sports practice, lessons, fitness classes

Our Spaces

Covenant Chapel

Covenant Chapel

Newly renovated performance venue in an intimate setting

Ideal space for smaller concerts, recitals, rehearsal space, music lessons, intimate weddings, art showing. Also, can be set up with tables and chairs for an inspiring meeting space.

  • Fully equipped with AV equipment, white board, Wi-Fi

  • Comfortable, flexible seating, tables available, set up as needed, small kitchen nearby

  • Young Chang parlour grand piano & electric keyboard on stage (use of piano requires permission, can only be moved by staff)

  • Sacred space for other congregations

  • Fully accessible including stage, building access and washrooms nearby, air conditioned

Beautiful historic sanctuary - large event space ideal for:

  • Concerts, Recitals, large weddings

Casavant organ and Yamaha grand piano (use of organ and piano requires permission, piano can only be moved by staff)

Fully equipped with AV equipment for live-streaming, projectors/ screens, microphones

Our building is fully wheelchair-accessible and has gender-neutral washrooms.

Downtown Location

Queen and Weber Sts in downtown Kitchener, close to LRT, buses and with onsite parking.

Affordable and Community-minded

Our fee structure is geared toward supporting the arts, community groups and non-profits.

Sacred Space

Our chapel and sanctuary can be used for religious or spiritual gatherings including weddings.

Kitchen Facilities

Kitchen facilities available for large dinners or a smaller kitchen for light snacks.

St Andrew’s is located in the heart of Kitchener on the corner of Weber and Queen, with nearby access to public transportation and plenty of parking!

Recommended parking:

  • Metered Street Parking on Roy St

  • Center in the Square Parking Lot

  • Kitchener Public Library Parking Garage

  • Duke Street Parking Garage

For weekend parking, the following locations are available free of charge and are closest to the church:

  • Center in the square (lot 19B) 101 Queen St N

  • King St E (lot 23) 201 King St E

  • Otto St (lot 14) 172 Frederick St

Insurance Requirements

All groups are required to obtain insurance for events at St Andrew’s. Proof of a minimum of $5,000,000 of liability and abuse insurance is required prior to the event. Users of our facility accept full risk and responsibility for the actions and control of anyone participating in your group’s activities.

If you are unsure about the best ways to obtain event insurance, here are some options:
