Registration for Dying to Know 2024 is now open! St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and Hospice Waterloo Region are thrilled to invite you to the 3rd community conversation about death, dying and grief. Witness an enlightening and thought-provoking experience featuring a variety of seminars on topics such as death, dying, and navigating grief.
On Oct 19th, we have not ONE but TWO keynote speakers who will both inspire and spark conversation with you. Yvonne Heath, inspirational speaker and author of the book “Love Your Life to Death” will start things off in the morning and in the afternoon our long-distance traveler and hospice friend Dr. Kathryn Mannix will lead us into more conversation with the knowledge, humour and experience gained as a palliative care physician and author of the books “With the End in Mind” and “Listen”. In addition, we hope that you will be inspired by the expertise of local community paramedics, a veterinarian who devotes her practice to the end of life care of our pets, and the launch of Hospice Waterloo’s new session – Dying is Normal. Please join us as we keep this conversation going!
