Noon Hour Concert: Merkwürdig Trio

Spring into the Music with a brand new line of performances in our Spring Noon Hour Concert Series. Admission to the building is free, and a sandwich lunch is available for purchase prior to each recital between 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., with the concerts beginning at 12:15 p.m.

About David Vanbiesbrouck

David Vanbiesbrouck is an active orchestral free-lancer and lover of all things oboe. He lives in Guelph where he plays principal oboe with the Guelph Symphony, and owns and operates Oboerific Reeds. David is an alumnus of Wilfrid Laurier University where he studied with Jim Mason and Graham Mackenzie. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, foraging wild edibles and fungi, and curating his large collection of orchids.

About Judith Souman

Judith Souman holds a MMus in viola performance from Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam and a BMus in viola performance and music history from WLU. Judith has been active as a solo, chamber and orchestral performer in Canada and the Netherlands; currently based in Kitchener, she played frequently with the KW Symphony. She has taught master classes at Laurier and maintains a busy teaching schedule at the Laurier Academy of Music and Art.

About Beth Ann de Sousa

Based at Wilfrid Laurier University for more than 45 years, Beth Ann de Sousa has coached and accompanied countless instrumentalists, singers, chamber groups and choirs. She has taught courses in Musical Skills and Accompanying, was a founding member of the New Art Quartet and performed frequently with the KW Symphony. She holds Associate, Bachelor and Masters degrees in piano performance.
