Want to help and be part of a beautiful and important mission? Marillac Place has been providing a safe haven for pregnant and parenting women in need for over 30 years. Their mission is to provide shelter, education, counselling, and life skills development to help women break the cycle of poverty and dare to dream that transformation is possible.
Marillac Place is in need of volunteers who can assist mothers with childminding while they receive crucial training and therapeutic services. They are also looking for volunteers who can help mothers develop valuable skills such as cooking and financial literacy. They will be coming to the St. Andrew’s sanctuary on Tuesday, November 5th at 7pm to give an in-depth presentation on what they provide for women in need and what you can do to help. Please feel welcome to attend and learn more about their mission.
