This past Sunday I woke up at 5:55 which has been my normal routine for the last 40 plus years, ready to jump out of bed and prepare myself for Sunday worship. Then I realized I didn't need to get up. Instead, I went back to sleep. I have to say it was a strange experience.

I have enjoyed working at St. Andrew's and want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank the congregation and the leadership for the support given to me and to Barb in our short time here. I want to thank you for the many words, notes, and cards of appreciation both Barb and I received over the last few weeks. And I deeply appreciate the generous purse given to us on our last Sunday just over a week ago.

St. Andrews is a generous congregation in so many ways and it’s both my prayer and my belief that as a congregation you will continue to show that generosity to the community you serve and to the next minister who comes to serve you. My prayers are with you in the days ahead.
