These are exciting days at St. Andrew’s! The Christmas season is rapidly approaching. There is much to be done in preparation for our Christmas celebrations.
In the church, there are special services to be planned and organized, extra rehearsals, decorations to be put up, and many details to be looked after in order to facilitate a wonderful Christmas season for all who attend this congregation.
At home people are thinking about trees and lights, gifts and decorations, food and gatherings with family and friends. For many of us Christmas is one of the happiest times of the year and we look forward to it with hope and expectation.
The days before Christmas are exciting enough but this year at St. Andrew’s there is a reason for even more excitement, another reason to look to the future with hope and anticipation. The search for a NEW MINISTER is beginning.
Preparations are being made to discover who this person may be. A search team is being formed and the process has started. There will be lots of meetings for the team, lots of emails will be circulating, many people will be thinking and talking about the qualities they would like to see in a new minister.
This is a time for thinking and dreaming at St. Andrew’s. Not only is Christmas coming but so is a new lead minister.
I invite you to join in feeling the excitement in the air. Wonderful things are happening and God’s hand is guiding us into a new chapter in the St. Andrew’s story.
